Did you know the Friends ongoing booksale has donated books to Road to Reading, Keene High School effort to provide books on elementary school buses to prevent behavior issues and increase reading for enjoyment? We are also registering to provide books to Active duty military families through a special project, Thank, Linda!  Some of our donated paperback titles also go to Cheshire Medical with another book fairy to be shared with recuperating patients.

Gardens must GO so we can GROW!

There are still a few slots for plants.  This Saturday, 11-12:30 pm,  Friends of Frost Free will be on deck for rehoming, digging & packaging plants that you have reserved.  Even if you didn't have a chance to reserve a plant, stop by to see what's available.  Donations will be earmarked for future post-renovation gardens.  It's also a 3rd Saturday, so if you have book donations Friends will be available for that also

Thanks for your support!

Big Changes may be in store for this website

Thanks to our original founder's Great Grandson, Rufus Frost, V, we are in the application process to participate in 48in48.  This is an opportunity to be one of 48 nonprofits selected for a simple website design hack-a-thon by professionals.  They design 48 new sites for free in 48 hours!
Send good thoughts as I scramble to provide the information they'll use to improve our web face for you.

Did You Know?

While we are glued to the weather report concerned about those in the path of the latest storm, Take a minute to think about how prepared YOU are for an emergency.

The Library has FEMA information about Flood Preparedness. FEMA has an app for emergency information tied to your location as well as resources for families and individuals to prepare emergency supplies and plans so you can be ready and informed in the case of an emergency.

For more information visit www.ready.gov or www.redcross.org

Stop into the library for a FREE Disaster Preparedness Activity Book to begin the conversation and Create a Family Communication Plan.

Ready is the BEST way to be.

NOTICE For Classic Overdrive Users!

Regarding downloading an audiobook for an MP3 player, you could accomplish this using OverDrive for Windows; however, please note that eventually we will be sunsetting Classic OverDrive and you will not be able to download audiobooks to your computer to transfer to an MP3 player. While there is not yet a firm timeline in place for this, I do believe it will be sooner rather than later.
My suggestion would be to invest in devices that support the Libby app.
